Aryaman Verma was an exceptional young innovator and technologist whose brief life left an indelible mark on the fields of robotics, environmental technology, and social innovation. Born and raised in Ludhiana, Punjab, Aryaman demonstrated extraordinary talent from an early age, consistently excelling academically at Sat Paul Mittal School with stellar performances in Class X (94.8%) and Class XII (82%).
Recognized as a prodigy in technology, Aryaman held multiple entries in the India Book of Records, including being the youngest technocrat to develop the “Shudhvayu” air purifier and the country’s youngest drone developer. His innovative spirit led to the creation of various projects, from agricultural drones to smart traffic systems, showcasing his commitment to applying technology for societal benefit.
Aryaman’s achievements extended to the international stage, where he secured top positions in global robotics competitions, including a 1st Runner-up position at South Asia’s Biggest Robotics Competition in Moscow. His potential in space technology was recognized by ISRO, which selected him for the prestigious YUVIKA Young Scientist Program.
Beyond his technical prowess, Aryaman was a passionate leader and mentor. He served as an honorary speaker at various national and international platforms, sharing his knowledge on emerging technologies like blockchain and drones. His commitment to social causes was evident in his volunteer work, including teaching underprivileged students and supporting health initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aryaman’s journey in technology was complemented by his pursuit of higher education in Computer Science at Penn State University, Pennsylvania, USA. Though his life was tragically cut short by cancer, his legacy continues to inspire and shape the lives of countless young minds through the Aryaman Foundation (Regd.).
The Foundation, established in his memory, aims to empower young innovators, support cancer patients, and drive technological innovation for social good. It stands as a testament to Aryaman’s enduring vision of using technology as a force for positive change in society.
